
Join the Butte Archives at noon on Wednesday, September 28, as Tim Vincent returns to discuss more ways to use uncommon archival sources when doing genealogical and historical research. Tim will explain how to go beyond census and vital records, exploring immigration records, WPA records surveys, mining fatality records and more.
Tim Laitila Vincent has been a private researcher for 45 years specializing in U.S., Finnish, and Swedish research genealogy. He is a frequent presenter at genealogical conferences, annual FinnFests and the Minnesota Discovery Center (formerly Ironworld Center). He has had an interest for thirty years in health and genetics and spends many weeks each summer researching the Finns of Butte at the Archives.
The Brown Bag Lunch will begin at noon and run about an hour at the Archives, 17 W. Quartz Street. Coffee and water will be served and guests may bring a sack lunch.
