The Butte-Silver Bow Public Archives will continue its Brown Bag Lunch series on Wednesday, January 25, with a presentation by Pat Munday titled “Dances with Ravens: Wolf Birds and Humans”. Ravens are a daily experience for those of us who live in Butte. Pat Munday will talk about the human historical/cultural connection with ravens, our iconic town bird. Learn how these birds provide us a way to think about and connect with nature. From the Old Testament to the reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone National Park, ravens have much to teach us.

Pat Munday has been with Montana Tech in Butte since 1990 and is a Professor of Science & Technology Studies with the Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences Department. In addition to Montana Tech, Professor Munday was awarded two Fulbrights to China and held two additional visiting professor appointments.

The presentation will begin at noon and run about an hour at the Archives, 17 W. Quartz Street. The Archives recommends masks for the safety of our patrons. Guests may bring a sack lunch.
