The Butte-Silver Bow Public Archives will continue its programming for the exhibit “William Clark and the Art of the Gilded Age” with an architectural walking tour with Mary McCormick, Historic Preservation Officer for Butte-Silver Bow, on June 24, 2021, at 5:15 p.m. Attendees will meet at the Butte Archives parking lot, 17 West Quartz Street, and from there will head west for a walking tour featuring some of Butte’s historic properties touched by the Clark’s, including the Copper King Mansion, Clark Chateau, and J. Ross Clark House.

Attendees should wear appropriate clothing for the weather and for walking.
“William Clark and the Art of the Gilded Age” is sponsored by Butte-Silver Bow Archives, the University of Montana’s Montana Museum of Art and Culture, and Humanities Montana.
