This presentation will cover the Parrot Tailings Waste Removal Project. The Parrot Tailings Waste Removal Project was a waste removal project in the Silver Bow Creek corridor near the Civic Center that was completed in 2023 and funded by the Natural Resource Damage Program. Information will include site history, waste removal design and construction, reclamation design and construction, current land uses, and challenges overcome during the project. The presentation will be presented by Water & Environmental Technologies.

The Brown Bag presentation will begin at noon on Wednesday, January 28^th, 2026, and will last about an hour. The presentation will be held in the auditorium at the Butte-Silver Bow Public Archives located at 17 W. Quartz Street. Guests are encouraged to bring a sack lunch. Coffee and water will be provided.
